Hello Educators!
Welcome to the TeacherFit Newsletter, a weekly newsletter providing practical tips and actionable steps that help you lower stress, increase energy and be your best self in and out of the classroom!
We all experience moments when motivation dips, and it feels challenging to stay on track with our fitness goals. Don't worry—it's completely normal! Here are three tips to help you regain your motivation and keep moving forward.
Before we get into the three tips, check out this upcoming webinar with Dr. Don Parker and Dr. Avis Williams!

1. Set Small, Achievable Goals 🎯
When you're feeling unmotivated, it can be helpful to break down your goals into smaller, more manageable tasks. Instead of aiming to work out for an hour, start with just 10 minutes. Small goals are easier to achieve and can give you the boost of confidence you need to keep going.
Maybe that 10 minute workout turns in to 20. Or maybe it’s still 10 minutes and you feel refreshed afterwards and can celebrate showing up!
2. Track and Celebrate Milestones 🏅
Keeping track of your progress can be a great motivator. Whether it's using a fitness app, a journal, or a simple calendar, recording your achievements can provide a sense of accomplishment. Celebrate your milestones, no matter how small—they're all steps toward your larger goals!
Scheduling workouts weekly can also be a huge help! We tend to stick to our schedules when we look at our day ahead and see it written down.
3. Find a Workout Buddy for Accountability 🤝
Having a workout buddy can make a huge difference. Whether it's a colleague, friend, or family member, working out with someone else adds a layer of accountability. You can encourage each other, share progress, and make your fitness journey more enjoyable.
